How do you cool the Cooling tunnel?
A cooling tunnel is a cover over the conveyor belt. A suction fan blows outdoor air through the tunnel. The air direction is the opposite to the direction in which the baking forms move. At the end of the tunnel, a second fan removes the heated air and pumps it outdoors.
The advantage is that the stainless steel tunnel is highly accessible, thanks to hinged valves. This means that the tunnel is easy to clean. This type of cooling tunnel is used most for baking forms and lids.
Intensive cooling in very hot countries
For very hot countries, Capway supplies special, intensive cooling sections. These separate units are each fitted with their own fan. This enables them to blow large quantities of air into the baking form. It is also possible to cool lids at the same time.
All the versions can be connected to an external cooling unit. The advantage of this is that it enables 100% control of the cooling of your production lines.
